Philly Cheese Steak Casserole

This super easy weeknight dinner tasted just as you’d expect it to! Add a little hot sauce and it’s even better! This is one the whole family loved.

1 1/2lb stew meat
1 T olive oil
1 package egg noodles
1 onion, finely diced
1 large bell pepper, sliced into 1/4 inch pieces
2 cloves minced garlic
2 T Worcestershire sauce
8oz cream cheese
1 c. heavy cream
8oz provolone, finely chopped
Salt & pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 350. Cook egg noodles according to package directions in a pot with salted water. In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Once heated, add onion and garlic. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, then add stew meat. Season with salt & pepper. Once stew meat is cooked to your preferred doneness (I did medium), add bell peppers and Worcestershire. Cook on medium heat for 5 minutes, then simmer. While meat simmers, place heavy cream and cream cheese in a sauce pan. Melt cream cheese over medium heat. Once cream cheese is melted, add provolone and melt over medium heat. Reduce to low once melted.

Once the noodles are done, drain. Place noodles back in pot. Add meat mixture (do not drain) and cheese mixture. Stir well. Pour into a greased 13×9 inch pan and bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Serve hot.
